The school concept of the all-day school with a scientific-technical profile includes working in smaller learning groups. In addition to achieving the best possible school-leaving qualifications, it is also a declared educational goal to strengthen the students' personal development in order to prepare them for the challenges of the future.
This non-profit organization is a breeding center for endangered species in Bela-Bela, South Africa. The center is home to cheetahs, leopards, lions and other animals. Through educational work on site, an awareness of the animals' way of life is also created - and thus an important contribution is made to the preservation of these endangered species. In particular, animals that would no longer survive on their own in the wild are offered a dignified and species-appropriate new home. The team has made it its goal to keep the animals in such a way that the possibility of reintroduction remains. With volunteers supporting the permanent staff, "Cheetah Experience" also offers young people in particular the opportunity to get involved.
